Translation

If there is international interest for a certain text or project, it is possible to translate the source text to English or another language as a supplement to the diplomatic transcription of the text. It is also possible that the source text itself is in a foreign language and that there is need for a translation to Dutch.

A translation is considered a part of the <text> element. It can be encoded as a

that follows the original text of the source.
